CGCTA provides quality transit services for everyone in Cape Girardeau County. Our fleet includes demand response services that don’t follow a fixed route but travel throughout the community, transporting passengers according to their specific requests.
CGCTA serves the entire county of Cape Girardeau, including the cities of Cape Girardeau, Jackson, and surrounding areas.
Our demand response services are available:
Monday - Thursday 5 am - 10 pm
Friday - Saturday 5 am - 12 am
Sunday 5 am- 2 pm

Affordable Fares
Demand Response services are offered for a fare that varies depending on the origin and destination of the trip. Rates start at $7.00 and increase for a one-way trip.

Services for Senior Citizens
Senior citizens who are 60 years of age or older can ride free of charge, as long as the origin and destination of the ride are both in Cape Girardeau County. Please call to register today.
