Advertising
 The Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority has initiated a Transit Sponsorship Program. The program offers local business and organizations advertising space on Transit Authority vehicles. Revenue from this program will assist the Transit Authority in raising local matching funds required by State and Federal transit grants. The Transit Authority will primarily use the sponsorship revenue to replace aging vehicles and expand their fleet. Transit vehicle purchases bought with the Federal Transit Administration's Capital Grant Program require a 20% local match.
Sponsorships range from $1000 to $4000 and are placed on the windows of the vans. The sponsorships are able to go on the windows of the vans without affecting the driver's field of view because of a new technology used by Sign Art Studio of Jackson and Auto Trim Design of Cape Girardeau. From the outside of the van the sponsorship looks like a solid sticker, but from the inside of the van it is completely invisible.
